8th Century of Dedication to The Betterment of Thailand’s Economic Prosperity

After the chamber of commerce act was enacted by the government in B.E. 2509, the Thai Chamber of Commerce had been involved directly and indirectly in stimulating the economy, promoting the commercial rights of Thai people, and protecting Thai business owners from being exploited or taken advantage of over the past 40 years. Examples of these initiatives are: promoting the job preservation for Thai people, endorsing the immigrant career act, establishing the University of The Thai Chamber of Commerce, founding the Joint Public and Private Sector Consultative Committee (JPPSCC), supporting the development of the Provincial Chamber of Commerce, setting up the business insight center, publishing business journal and magazine, organizing the ASEAN Chamber of Commerce & Industry, managing regional business development projects, and strengthening national relationships on commerce, economy and politics.
