The Made in Laos Expo is a national expo hosted by the Lao National Chamber of Commerce and Industry which is organized one per year and this was first held in 2011 with participation and cooperation from many Provincial Chamber of Commerce and Industry, business groups and associations, institutions, international partners and businesses in Laos. At the event, there are over 200 booths showcasing which is focusing on Laos’s potential industries to reinforce the brands and the awareness of the high quality of the Lao products as well as creating this exhibition to be one of the most important business platforms that should create multiple marketing channels for products from the leading Lao companies and the SME entrepreneurs to explore more business opportunities with support the local economy and also to advertise the richness of customs-culture, trade-investment, tourist attractions and other unique features of Laos.
As the year 2024, the Lao PDR is holding the ASEAN Chairmanship as well as the Visit Laos Year 2024, and also this marks the 10th anniversary of the “Made in Laos Expo”. With this, the Made in Laos aims to bring together Lao businesses, businesses from ASEAN countries to foster regional trade and investment in Laos by focuses on showcasing the potential for trade and investment in the Lao PDR, while also reinforcing Lao and ASEAN branding in the highlight of
quality for both products and services. The event will be held in Lao-ITECC from 28th September to 7th October 2024, and this event would be including various programs such as: sector-specific exhibitions, trade shows, business matching sessions, seminars, panel discussion and other activities.
