บทบาทของทุกภาคส่วนในการร่วมแก้ไขปัญหาการศึกษาไทย โดยแม้ระบบการศึกษาจะเผชิญความท้าทายหลายด้าน แต่ยังคงเห็นถึงพลังของภาคีเครือข่ายและความหวังในการพัฒนาการศึกษาไทยให้ดีขึ้น\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>การแก้ปัญหาการศึกษาต้องเริ่มตั้งแต่ระดับพื้นฐานและลงไปถึงระดับพื้นที่ โดยมองว่าการแก้ไขปัญหาไม่สามารถดำเนินการเฉพาะในระดับนโยบายหรือ “จากข้างบน” เพียงอย่างเดียว แต่ต้องให้ความสำคัญกับการพัฒนาจากระดับโรงเรียนและพื้นที่ควบคู่กันไป เนื่องจากปัจจุบันเด็กไทยจำนวนไม่น้อยยังมีข้อจำกัดด้านทักษะพื้นฐาน ทั้งการอ่าน การสื่อสาร และคณิตศาสตร์ ซึ่งเป็นทักษะสำคัญต่อการเรียนรู้ในระดับที่สูงขึ้น\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>ทั้งนี้ ปัญหาดังกล่าวไม่ได้เกิดขึ้นเฉพาะในประเทศไทย แต่เป็นความท้าทายที่หลายประเทศทั่วโลกกำลังเผชิญ แม้แต่ประเทศมหาอำนาจก็ยังต้องให้ความสำคัญกับการพัฒนาทักษะพื้นฐานของประชากร สะท้อนให้เห็นว่า การลงทุนกับทุนมนุษย์และการวางรากฐานการศึกษาเป็นเรื่องที่ทุกภาคส่วนต้องร่วมกันให้ความสำคัญ\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>ภาคเอกชนกับบทบาทในการร่วมพัฒนาการศึกษา คุณสราวุฒิฯ กล่าวว่า ภาคเอกชนสามารถเข้ามามีบทบาทในการสนับสนุนการศึกษาได้หลากหลายรูปแบบ โดยเฉพาะการทำงานร่วมกับโรงเรียนซึ่งเปรียบเสมือนศูนย์กลางของการพัฒนาในพื้นที่ ผ่านการสนับสนุนทั้งด้านการเรียนรู้ ทักษะอาชีพ การฝึกงาน และการเชื่อมโยงผู้เรียนกับโลกการทำงานจริง\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>ตัวอย่างเช่น โครงการโรงเรียนร่วมพัฒนา ซึ่งเปิดโอกาสให้ภาคเอกชนเข้ามามีส่วนร่วมกับโรงเรียนในพื้นที่ต่าง ๆ ทั่วประเทศ โดยปัจจุบันมีภาคเอกชนเข้าร่วม 20 หน่วยงาน และมีโรงเรียนเข้าร่วม 382 แห่งใน 77 จังหวัด สะท้อนให้เห็นว่าปัญหาด้านการศึกษามีความหลากหลายและจำเป็นต้องอาศัยความร่วมมือจากหลายภาคส่วนในการแก้ไข\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>ขณะเดียวกัน เครือข่าย หอการค้าไทยและ YEC มีความมุ่งมั่นในการสนับสนุนการศึกษาและการเรียนรู้ โดยเฉพาะการเปิดโอกาสให้เด็กและเยาวชนได้เรียนรู้จากภาคธุรกิจจริง ผ่านการฝึกงาน การพัฒนาทักษะ และการเรียนรู้เกี่ยวกับธุรกิจ ซึ่งจะช่วยให้ผู้เรียนมีทักษะที่สามารถนำไปใช้ในการทำงานได้จริง\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>นอกจากนี้ ในการพัฒนากำลังคนระดับพื้นที่ ภาคเอกชนในจังหวัดต่าง ๆ ยังสามารถทำงานร่วมกับหน่วยงานด้านการศึกษาและภาคีเครือข่าย เพื่อสนับสนุนการพัฒนาทักษะอาชีพของเยาวชน โดยหากสามารถช่วยลดภาระด้านค่าใช้จ่ายหรือสนับสนุนทรัพยากรที่จำเป็นได้ ก็จะช่วยสร้างแรงจูงใจและเปิดโอกาสให้ภาคเอกชนเข้ามามีส่วนร่วมในการพัฒนาการศึกษามากยิ่งขึ้น\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>“คนในพื้นที่รักพื้นที่ และอยากเห็นพื้นที่เติบโต” เป็นอีกหนึ่งพลังสำคัญที่สามารถนำมาใช้ในการพัฒนาการศึกษา โดยภาคธุรกิจในแต่ละจังหวัดมีความผูกพันกับพื้นที่และต้องการเห็นเศรษฐกิจและธุรกิจในท้องถิ่นเติบโต การลงทุนด้านการศึกษาและการพัฒนาทุนมนุษย์จึงเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของการสร้างรากฐานให้กับการพัฒนาพื้นที่ในระยะยาว\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>สำหรับคำถามว่า The forum also featured a special address by Prof. Dr. Yotchanan Wongsawat, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>During the panel discussion, Mr. Saravoot shared his perspectives on the role of all sectors in addressing Thailand’s education challenges. While the education system continues to face multiple challenges, he emphasized the strength of partnerships across sectors and the continued hope of driving meaningful improvements in Thailand’s education system.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>He stressed that addressing education challenges must begin with foundational learning and extend to the local level. Solutions cannot rely solely on national policies or a “top-down” approach; development at the school and community levels must advance in parallel. Today, many Thai children continue to face gaps in essential foundational skills, particularly reading, communication, and mathematics—competencies that are critical to further learning and future career opportunities.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>These challenges are not unique to Thailand. Countries around the world are confronting similar issues, and even major global economies continue to prioritize the development of foundational skills among their populations. This highlights the importance of investing in human capital and strengthening the foundations of education as a shared priority for all sectors.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Ch3>The Private Sector’s Role in Advancing Education\u003C\u002Fh3>\u003Cp>Mr. Saravoot noted that the private sector can support education development in a wide range of ways, particularly by working closely with schools, which serve as important hubs for development within local communities. Such collaboration can provide support for learning, career and vocational skills, internships, and opportunities for students to connect with the real-world workplace.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>One example is the Partnership Schools initiative, which enables private-sector organizations to collaborate with schools in communities across Thailand. Currently, 20 private-sector organizations and 382 schools across all 77 provinces are participating in the initiative. This demonstrates the diversity and complexity of education challenges and the need for coordinated action among multiple stakeholders.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>At the same time, The Thai Chamber of Commerce and YEC network remains committed to supporting education and learning, particularly by creating opportunities for children and young people to gain first-hand experience of the business sector. Through internships, skills development, and practical business learning, students can develop competencies that can be directly applied in the workplace.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>In addition, local businesses can work together with education authorities and partner networks to strengthen youth career and workforce skills. Helping to reduce financial burdens and providing essential resources can create stronger incentives and greater opportunities for the private sector to participate in education development.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>“People who love their communities want to see their communities grow.” This local commitment is another powerful force that can be harnessed to advance education. Businesses in each province have strong ties to their communities and want to see local economies and enterprises thrive. Investment in education and human capital is therefore an essential part of building a strong foundation for long-term local development.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>Asked whether the initiatives currently being undertaken by the private sector and partner networks have already achieved success, Mr. Saravoot acknowledged that today’s outcomes may not yet have reached the level envisioned by all stakeholders.
