ได้ให้ข้อมูลเกี่ยวกับบทบาทหน้าที่และอำนาจของสำนักงานผู้ตรวจการแผ่นดิน(สผผ.) ในฐานะองค์กรอิสระตามรัฐธรรมนูญ อาทิ แก้ไขปัญหาความเดือดร้อนหรือความไม่เป็นธรรมของประชาชน เสนอแนะปรับปรุงกฎหมายทุกระดับ \u002Fแนวปฏิบัติของหน่วยงานรัฐ การตรวจสอบการใช้อำนาจรัฐ รวมทั้ง ส่งเสริม สนับสนุน และให้คำแนะนำหน่วยงานของรัฐให้ดำเนินการให้มีประสิทธิภาพเพื่อ ลดความเหลื่อมล้ำ อำนวยความเป็นธรรม และลดภาระที่ไม่จำเป็น ตลอดจน เสนอแนะแนวทาง การปรับปรุงกฎหมายหรือกฎระเบียบปฏิบัติให้มีความทันสมัย\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>นายทรงศักฯ เผยเพิ่มเติมว่า สผผ. ยังมุ่งขับเคลื่อนเพื่อยกระดับสู่การเป็นองค์กรมาตรฐานสากลในการแก้ไขความเดือดร้อน โดยเน้นการทำงานเชิงรุก และการตรวจสอบปัญหาเชิงระบบหรือเชิงโครงสร้างที่มีผลกระทบวงกว้างต่อสังคม อาทิ การคุ้มครองผู้บริโภค การจัดสรรสาธารณูปโภคขั้นพื้นฐานและ ความโปร่งใสในกระบวนการยุติธรรม ตลอดจน ขอบข่ายหน้าที่ในการส่งเรื่องให้ศาลรัฐธรรมนูญหรือศาลปกครองพิจารณาในกรณีที่บทบัญญัติแห่งกฎหมายหรือการกระทำใดอาจขัดต่อรัฐธรรมนูญ\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>พร้อมนี้ และเกิดประสิทธิผลอย่างเป็นรูปธรรม\u003Cbr>2.โครงการ Zero Corruption กกร.และเพื่อนไม่ทน: เพื่อยกระดับการแก้ไขปัญหาด้านทุจริตคอร์รัปชันของประเทศไทยให้ดีขึ้น สร้างความเชื่อมั่นต่อภาคเศรษฐกิจและสังคม\u003Cbr>3.แนวทางกำหนดการตรวจสอบย้อนหลัง (Post Audit) กรณีจัดจ้างบริษัทที่ปรึกษาของภาครัฐ: เพื่อให้การลงทุนในโครงการโครงสร้างพื้นฐานและโครงการสำคัญต่างๆของรัฐ มีความโปร่งใส เกิดประโยชน์สูงสุดต่อเศรษฐกิจของประเทศ\u003Cbr>4.แนวทางเสริมสร้างกลไกกำกับติดตามการใช้บัญชีนวัตกรรมไทยเพื่อยกระดับขีดความสามารถในการแข่งขันของประเทศ: เพื่อเพิ่มโอกาสในการใช้สินค้านวัตกรรมของไทย และลดการพึ่งพานวัตกรรมจากต่างประเทศ และเสริมความเข้มแข็งให้เศรษฐกิจไทย
